March 17, 2019 (Gold River, Calif.) - San Diego State rowing completed day two of the Hornet Invitational on Sunday with two first place finishes, one second and one third place time in its four events against Kansas State to wrap its weekend on Lake Natoma.

March 16, 2019 (San Diego) - The San Diego State baseball team won its third straight game after the Aztecs defeated Seattle, 12-8, at Tony Gwynn Stadium on Saturday night. The Aztecs improve to 10-7 on the year and have won five of their last six, while the Redhawks fall to 4-14.

March 16, 2019 (San Diego) - San Diego State wrapped up an unblemished five-game homestand Saturday after knocking off LIU Brooklyn 18-15 at Aztec Lacrosse Field. With the victory, SDSU won its sixth straight overall to raise its record to 8-1, continuing the team’s best start in program history.

March 16, 2019 (San Diego) -  San Diego State had its two-match winning streak snapped on Saturday in a 4-0 defeat to 30th-ranked San Diego at Aztec Tennis Center.

With the loss, the Aztecs slip to 5-5 overall, while the Toreros move to 11-3 on the season.

March 16, 2019 (San Diego) - The No. 25 Aztec water polo team (8-10, 1-1) cruised past Concordia 11-4 Saturday afternoon at the Aztec Aquaplex. San Diego State didn’t allow a goal in the first half and started the game on an 8-0 run enroute to their first GCC win of the season.

March 15, 2019 (San Diego) - Matt Rudick hit a walk-off single to score Joe Fitzhugh with two outs in the bottom of the 10th as the San Diego State baseball team won its series opener against Seattle, 6-5. SDSU improves to 9-7 on the year, while Seattle falls to 4-13.

March 15, 2019 (San Diego) - Despite striking out 14 in the game, San Diego State lost to New Mexico, 3-1, in the Mountain West opener for both teams Friday night at SDSU Softball Stadium.

All four runs in the game were scored in the first inning.

March 15, 2019 (San Diego) - The No. 25 Aztec water polo team fell to No. 10 UC Irvine 13-8 Friday afternoon at the Aztec Aquaplex. SDSU fell behind 4-0 and 6-1 early in the game and couldn’t recover.

March 14, 2019 (Las Vegas) - Jalen McDaniels ad 25 points and 14 rebounds as San Diego State topped UNLV 63-55 in the quarterfinals of the Mountain West Conference Tournament on Thursday.

Devin Watson had 19 points for San Diego State (20-12).  Nathan Mensah added seven rebounds.

Kris Clyburn had 19 points for the Runnin' Rebels (17-14). Amauri Hardy added 11 points and seven assists. Joel Ntambwe had 10 points and eight rebounds.

The Aztecs next face Nevada tomorrow in the semifinals at 6:00 p.m.

March 13, 2019 (Las Vegas) - Freshman guard Sophia Ramos totaled 16 points and junior center Zayn Dornstauder had a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds in San Diego State’s 75-70 loss to No. 3 seed Wyoming in Tuesday’s semifinal of the MW Championship. The Aztecs led by as many as three points in the game and had a two-point advantage heading into the last 19 seconds of regulation, but two free throws by the Cowgirls pushed the game into extra minutes.

March 12, 2019 (Flagstaff) - Six San Diego State divers finished 1-meter action at the NCAA Zone E Championships on Wednesday. For the second consecutive day, the Aztecs were led by freshman Ximena Lechuga Gonzalez, who reached the finals and placed 13th with a two-round score of 542.05.

March 11, 2019 (Las Vegas) - Sophomore guard Najé Murray tallied 22 points with six three-pointers and freshman guard Mallory Adams recorded a career-high 16 rebounds in San Diego State’s 70-61 overtime win over second-seeded New Mexico in Monday’s Mountain West quarterfinal. The Aztecs came back from a 13-point deficit and tied the score with a Sophia Ramos’ runner at the end of regulation to push the game into extra minutes.

March 10, 2019 (San Diego) - San Diego State extended its winning streak to four straight games with a 13-6 victory over Lehigh on Sunday at Aztec Lacrosse Field.

SDSU erased a 6-5 deficit early in the second half with an 8-0 blitz over the final 26:29 to raise its record to 6-1 on the year, matching the program’s best seven-game start to a season after the 2014 squad accomplished the same feat.

March 10, 2019 (San Diego) -  The San Diego State women's tennis team hosted its second match of the weekend on Sunday, dominating Pacific 4-0 to snap a three-match losing streak.

The Aztecs opened the afternoon by clinching heir second doubles point of the week. Freshmen Shakhnoza Khatamova and Agustina Rimoldi Godoy made quick work of Pacific’s Anneroos Nederstigt and Maya Lopez, going 6-2 in the match, while sophomore Nnena Nadozie and freshman Alicia Melosch topped Jacquie Tan and Dohee Lee, 6-4 in the top seed to claim the doubles point.
