March 9, 2019 (Reno) - Caleb Martin scored 25 points and twin brother Cody added 14 to lead No. 17 Nevada to an 81-53 rout of San Diego State on Saturday night that clinched a share of the Mountain West title with Utah State.

March 9, 2019 (San Diego) - The San Diego State baseball team took a 6-4 lead in the bottom of the sixth with a four-run inning and never looked back, clinching the series with an 8-5 victory over Nevada Saturday night at Tony Gwynn Stadium.

March 9, 2019 (Long Beach) - The San Diego State softball team downed Long Beach State, 4-1, to salvage a Saturday split at the Louisville Slugger Classic in Long Beach.  The win came after the Aztecs (12-12) dropped a 5-1 decision to Ohio earlier in the day.

March 9, 2019 (Marina Del Rey) - The San Diego State rowing team traveled to Marina del Rey, Calif., Saturday morning where they fell short in head-to-head competition against UCLA. The Aztecs competed in four events on Ballona Creek – the third varsity eight, varsity four, second varsity eight and varsity eight – falling behind each of UCLA’s crews in all four races.

March 8, 2019 (San Diego) - Harlowe Steele scored the golden goal with 32 seconds elapsed in the second overtime to give San Diego State a wild 15-14 victory over Vanderbilt on Friday at Aztec Lacrosse Field.

In addition, Kirstie Greenlaw, Caitlin Jones and Morgan Taylor each netted a hat trick to help the Aztecs (5-1) win their third straight and deal the Commodores (5-1) their first loss of the year.

March 8, 2019 (San Diego) - Featuring a dominating start by Justin Goossen-Brown, the San Diego State baseball team opened its three-game series against Nevada with a 3-1 win on Friday night at Tony Gwynn Stadium. SDSU evens its record at 6-6 on the young season with a 1-1 mark in Mountain West play, while Nevada, which opened its MW schedule tonight, falls to 7-5.

March 8, 2019 (San Diego) - The No. 22 SDSU water polo team (5-8, 0-1) kicked off the Aztec Invitational by splitting a pair of games Friday afternoon at the Aztec Aquaplex. In their first game, the GCC opener against Azusa Pacific, the Aztecs lost a tight one 10-9. The rebounded with a convincing 12-6 win over St. Francis. Emily Bennett scored five total goals to pace the Aztecs.

March 8, 2019 (San Diego) - San Diego State women's tennis kicked off a seven-match homestand on Friday afternoon when it hosted, and ultimately fell 4-3 to, Middle Tennessee State. The Aztecs had the edge in doubles play, but faced tough matchups in singles action and eventually dropped the dual to the Blue Raiders.

March 5, 2019 (San Diego) - San Diego State gave up eight runs over the final two innings in a 9-0, six-inning loss to Florida Gulf Coast on a rainy Tuesday night at SDSU Softball Stadium.

With a 1-0 lead after four innings, the Eagles (9-9) scored three times in the fifth inning and five in the sixth to complete the run-rule victory.

March 4, 2019 (Fresno) -  The Aztec women’s basketball team (11-17, 6-11) held off a late rally by Fresno State (18-10, 11-6) to escape with a 59-58 win Monday evening.

The Bulldogs’ Candice White hit a difficult three-pointer with 5.8 seconds left to bring Fresno State within one point. The Bulldogs then fouled Mallory Adams who missed both free throws to set up one more chance for Fresno State. After advancing the ball, they inbounded to Maddi Utti, who faked a hand-off to White and then drove baseline, stopped and elevated for an eight foot jumper that rimmed out as the buzzer went off.

March 3, 2019 (San Diego) - San Diego State ended its play in the San Diego Classic on a sour note in a 6-4 loss to Weber State Sunday afternoon at SDSU Softball Stadium.

The Aztecs (10-8), who on Friday night had seasons highs of 18 hits and 13 runs in a 13-8 win over UIC, but left a season-high 13 on base, was unable to come through with the timely hit today. SDSU left 10 runners on base, and finished 2-for-15 (.133) with runners on base and 2-for-12 (.167) with runners in scoring position.

February 28, 2019 (San Diego) - San Diego State took advantage of a pair of Brigham Young errors in the bottom of the seventh inning to rally past the Cougars 2-1 in the first game of the San Diego Classic Thursday night at SDSU Softball Stadium. It was the fourth walk-off win of the season for the Aztecs (9-7) and third victory when trailing heading into the final inning.

February 28, 2019 (San Diego) - San Diego State picked up its second straight victory on Thursday after shutting out UC Davis, 4-0, in a non-conference dual match at Aztec Tennis Center.

SDSU notched its second consecutive doubles point in the whitewash before claiming the first three decisions in singles play to raise its record to 5-4 overall. The Aggies, meanwhile, slip to 7-4 on the season.

February 28, 2019 (San Diego) - The Aztec women’s basketball team (10-15, 5-10) suffered a 65-52 defeat to Utah State (13-14, 8-8) Wednesday evening inside Viejas Arena. The Aztecs, who fell behind by 16 points early in the second quarter, were able to pull within one point late in the third, but then saw Utah State finish the game on a 15-3 run.

February 26, 2019 (Logan, Utah) - Quinn Taylor recorded 13 points and 11 rebounds to lift Utah State to a 70-54 win over San Diego State on Tuesday night.

Sam Merrill had 19 points for Utah State (23-6, 13-3 Mountain West Conference), which earned its fifth consecutive victory. Diogo Brito added 12 points. Justin Bean had 10 points and eight rebounds for the hosts.
